If you are looking for a great time management and 'To-Do List' tool, your search could very well be over.

For years I went from one solution to another.  And most solutions I would use for a while and move to something else or, worse, nothing.  They always fell short in some way.Toodledo Review

And then I found Toodledo!

GETTING THINGS DONE

I knew right away I was on the right track because it tied into David Allen's popular GTD method (Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity ).

I first read about GTD roughly 10 years ago.  At the time I was a mess, but it whipped me into shape and had me start thinking about how I was organized and getting things done in a whole new light that's made all the difference over the years.

So this is an awesome feature of Toodledo.  It incorporates many of those 'Getting Things Done' principles right into the solution.  So you can manage your tasks and activities in the best way possible!

CUSTOMIZATION & FLEXIBILITY

I'm also big on flexibility.  The interface is such in that you have a lot of control over the look, feel and how things are organized.  You can manipulate the view, hide or show columns, sort things however you want and use their built in filtering system to see things in a variety of ways.

If you aren't using a certain feature, hide it!

GOALS - SHORT AND LONG TERM

I didn't initially think I'd use this feature, but now I am.

There's functionality where you can set up long term goals, which tie into short term goals which can corolate with your tasks and 'To Dos'.  So lets say you set up a project task to build a new eBay affiliate website.  Well, maybe that can reference a Short Term goal of building 10 eBay affiliate sites which ties into a long term goal to build a network of a 100 niche websites pf varying varieties.

And then you'll create tasks that connect with (reference) those goals.  (of course, you can see all those tasks grouped in one of the views/tabs).

Oh, and don't forget your Lifetime Goals which than can conect with your long and short term. ;)

TASKS

Toodledo for iPhoneThere are a great many tools at your disposal to set up tasks and organize them.

Besides just setting a date they should start and be completed, you can place them in a particular folder, tag them, connect them with a goal, use context (that will tell you 'where' you can perform that task - what environment or place), priority level, how long you are setting aside for it and more!

You can create notes to reference (which you can hide or show in your lists of tasks).

And don't forget, you can create sub-tasks.  So break up your tasks or projects into smaller pieces so you can work on things in chunks.

WOW, THINK ABOUT THIS!

You could have a Lifetime Goal.

Which connects to a Long-Term goal to achieve that.

Which is broken into smaller Short-Term Goals..

Which are achieved through the tasks you set up.

Which can be broken down into small steps and sub-tasks.

Amazing isn't it!?

BUT THE TRUE POWER TO ME IS...

...and what truly ties into the philosophy established by GTD to forget about stuff and have less stress...

Organizing by IMPORTANCE!  And yes, they have a built in algorithm that does this for you:

"When using views, you have the option of sorting your tasks by "Importance". When you sort your tasks by "Importance", Toodledo looks at the due-date, priority and star of a task and uses a mathematical formula to determine the relative importance of each task."

You might eventually have 100s of goals and tasks in your interface.

Guess what?  Let Toodledo guide you.  As long as you actively incorporate for each task all the built in things like Priority of each task, starring tasks, setting due-dates etc.., Toodledo has a view where they'll show you EXACTLY what you should be working on. :)

And you can set your view to only show those tasks that are in the immediate future!  Don't worry about next week or next months tasks.  Get them off your mind.. they are there and they'll show themselves when they are important.

IN CONCLUSION

I could go on.. with their Web 2.0 compliance, import features, collaboration features, time tracking, mobile support and more.

But you get the idea.  It's awesome!

And you should check it out: Learn more about Toodledo!

Hope this review helps.  Here's to a more Productive and 'Less Stressed' you!
